In which Shepard is not particularly sympathetic to Jacob, probably due to a combination of being in go-go-go-let’s-hurry-up-and-fix-this mode and because she’s not very friendly with him.

Jacob’s now in “this doesn’t make any sense/there has to be a reason for it/I’m not seeing it” mode and Shepard’s reaction is basically “your dad was a terrible officer and not command material and the only reason he activated the beacon is because he was getting attacked by the other officers.”

Mechs: Your captain demands obedience. Weapons are forbidden.

Shepard: *Singularity* *Warp* *all three mechs explode*
